No comments:
This study which I share this evening is interesting in the sense that I never knew that blacks are not known to suffer congestive heart failure due to thyrotoxicosis. It is a study authored by R C Anakwue, B J C Onwubere, B C Anisiuba, V O Ikeh, A Mbah, and S O Ike; all of the Department of Medicine, College of Medicine, University of Nigeria Enugu Campus. Happy reading!

READING THE URINE TO PREDICT KIDNEY DISEASE

This article chronicles a very interesting discourse between two physicians - Dr. Henry Black and Dr. Lynda Szcech, published online in the April 01, 2011 edition of Medscape Internal Medicine. Dr. Henry Black is a Clinical Professor of Internal Medicine at New York University School of Medicine, and also the immediate past President of The American Society of Hypertension. He is a former nephrologist, in the sense that he no longer practices nephrology actively. Dr. Lynda Szczech is currently a Consultant nephrologist at Duke University.

Attend the WACP 2 Day Mandatory Course in Medical Ethics

No comments:
I have just realised that the West African College of Physicians (WACP) now have the Medical Ethics course as mandatory requirement, and non-attendance may mean you are ineligible to sit the next Part 1 Membership exam of the College. To make matters worse, the first course concluded 2 weeks ago, although another is in 2 weeks from now. I share this online in my diary so all affected residents are aware and apply as soon as they can.
